(VIANEWS) – According to the Energy Ministry Baku, Azerbaijan has exported 9.1 billion cubic metres of natural gas during the first half year. This is 36% more than a year ago.
Bloomberg Quint confirmed that Turkey has imported almost 4.7 billion cubic metres of natural gas from Azerbaijan during the reporting period. The ministry did not give a year-on-year comparison. Georgia purchased 1.2 billion cubic metres of natural gas.
In the first six months, Azerbaijan exported nearly 3.2 billion cubic metres of natural gas to Europe. December 31 marked the start of shipping to Europe.
